[Stolen from Ramon Nivar's 2010 thread because thats what came up when I searched]
It's that time of year again! The time of year where we start this and finish midway through the season prompting people to claim players with one good game to be All-Pros and breakout guys to be Hall of Famers.
Anyway, the NFL Re-Draft is a game we play where 32 users take hold of teams [Some teams have 2-3 users working together because they aren't competent enough to do it alone.. Legend and SC ] and we draft from the entire pool of the NFL. Order is reversed every round. So the 1st pick of the 1st round has the last pick of the second.
This involves a lot of strategy and a lot of NFL knowledge. It is also very long. We're talking several months. We don't want people who will quit mid-way through. We also don't want people who will quit without warning.
Anyway, this is very fun; many who do it once and actually follow through can't wait for the next one; and there will be a committee of three picking the GM's so just because I don't like you doesn't mean you don't have a chance.
Co-GM: 50% stake in the team. All trades must be approved by both co-GM's. Both co-GM's have the power to make a pick.
Assistant: Just an adviser. No power to make trades or picks.
Fill this out:
Preferred Team Name (not NFL teams - make one up):
If you want a Co-GM and who:
If you want an assistant and who:
Where do you post (POSTING activity is important, we can't tell if you lurk or not):
We'll get rolling as soon as we fill out with competent GMs
If you're vets of the game and have the time, take your own team, we all know it only improves the quality of the game.
-Guys your team names should not have a city, just a made up name. And please avoid likeness to NFL teams or cities, we are particularly trying to avoid voting biases with these made up names, so if yours doesn't do that I'm going to have to ask you to select a new one.
Also, please keep the discussion in here strictly related to sign ups.
