    Kings Sign Sim Bhullar

I wonder if this is just cause Vivek is the owner and wants to give him a chance, or if he has actually proven himself??

I saw him play in college. He was not particularly dominant in the WAC, so I don't see him excelling in the league. This move screams gimmick, but if it gets the Kings some extra fans then why not.

He didn't even play in summer league, I don't know why he's even worth a training camp invite. This franchise is being run like a circus right now.

There are 2 eras when discussing these recent Kings. Maloof and post-Maloof. The Kings new regime was doing good things in year 1 of Post-Maloof. This year has been a disaster. So yes, right now is different than last year.

What was the point of your post anyway?

We signed him because he's huge and of Indian descent. Maybe it shouldn't be the case, but I think those two facts were equally influential in this. I guess this could make us the most popular team in India?

As it stands, I highly doubt he catches on at the NBA level (especially this year), but having him spend some time in the D-league can't hurt. As they say, you can't teach size. Worst case scenario, he never plays in the NBA. Best case scenario, he slims down substantially and becomes mobile enough to play some minutes off the bench, and we get a strong foothold in a possibly emerging market in India.

Literally 0 chance he makes it out of camp. I'd then say literally 0 chance he does anything ever in the NBA.

he actually has some touch for 7'5 and is more durable than ming. with nba team trainers he should get in waaaay better shape. if he can work his *** off (literally) and get to 290-310 range he will see nba minutes eventually. he just needs to be able to get up and down. even being so tall you dont reach this lvl by accident.
