Milwaukee Brewers (67-55) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (70-53)

    ...................................

Milwaukee Brewers (67-55) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (70-53)

    Dodger Stadium

Game 1. Friday, 7:10PM. Sports Net LA.

    Zack Greinke

The long ball cost Greinke in his last start as he surrendered two in a game for the first time since April 6. He also surrendered four earned runs, marking only the fourth time he's done that in 24 outings.

Nelson turned in his fourth straight quality start, allowing two runs over six innings to the Dodgers on Sunday. He worked his way out of three consecutive jams with limited damage, stranding seven baserunners.

Game 2. Saturday, 6:10PM. MLB Network.

    Clayton Kershaw

Kershaw played the role of stopper his last time out, halting a two-game slide by limiting Milwaukee to one run in eight innings and finishing 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run scored, a walk and a hit-by-pitch.

The key stat from Gallardo's win over the Cubs on Aug. 11: Zero walks. That was the fifth time in 24 starts that he did not walk a batter, and he's allowed only four earned runs in 35 1/3 innings in those games.

Game 3. Sunday, 1:10PM. Sports Net LA.

    Dan Haren

Haren has righted the ship after a disastrous five-start stretch that saw him compile a 10.03 ERA in 23 1/3 innings, giving up only three earned runs and issuing just one walk in his past two starts.

Peralta had won five consecutive starts and 10 of his previous 11 decisions but was defeated on Tuesday by an old foe. He fell to 0-3 this season against the Cubs, compared with 14-3 against his other opponents.

This ends our stretch of 20 games in 20 days against mostly good teams and so far we've been pretty successful, winning 2/3 to close out this stretch would be fantastic.

A lot of that success came off of an over rated braves team, and overrated giants team, and an over achieving angels team, against the Cards and Pirates and Brewers, this team is like 3-6 over this same span.

Greike is pitching too predictable. Fastballs for strikes, every other pitch = trash.

I just don' t want to get my hopes up.

BTW do you still support #Joc2LA because the way Puig has been playing, it doesn't seem as necessary as it did a few months ago.

So we know what the Brewers will do to thwart Dee when on the ropes... pitch low.

As long as Dee gets on base - the out was productive.
