Hard to say on the production, but I'd guess something like this in terms of minutes:

    Butler (35) - Snell (18)
    McDermott (24) - Dunleavy (19)

I hope to see Snell get more of an opportunity this year, but he'll definitely have to earn it, so maybe he ends up getting more than 20MPG, but I doubt that happens right away. I don't think Doug gets the usual Rookie treatment under Thibs since he apparently really wanted him in the draft and he's more NBA ready than any Rookie we've had in the Thibs era.

I would guess McDermott will be the high scorer of this group, Butler will be the jack of all trades type, Snell with your 3 & D guy and Dunleavy will be the 3PT specialist off the bench.

I think all three will be wildly inconsistent. Could see all three putting up 20-30 one night and 6 the next. Minutes will vary depending on who their playing and who's hot. I don't think that's really a bad thing. Butler will see consistent minutes because of his D, and Mcdermott might start so he could see consistent minutes as well. I doubt he starts though.

    Butler (35) - Snell (13)
    Dunleavy (26) - McDermott (22)

^ is my guess as to how the minutes break down for the wings. I think Dougie is going to crack the Thibs rookie pattern.

Better players play so I think E - Moore could be more consistent then Snell. I suspect McDermott will go cold beyond the arc for a week or two on occasions. He could appear to be alright because there's plenty of awful second units out there. Having him and Dunleavy switching off a lot could be great. Butlers IQ will increase but not his talent so he will be a bit better. There also could be more open looks for him. I wouldn't be sure if he makes them.

Well they did just sign Moore so he must be better. Maybe they'll coax Scalabrine out of retirement so he can start for Noah.

Jimmy will not win DPOY, while he might deserve it, big men typically win that award due to block shot totals, nobody looks at the real stats like points against or FG% against a player.
The hope is that Jimmy finally steps up, but its unlikely IMO. don't see him getting much better, last year was his chance to shine and he wasn't great offensively.

Hopefully, snell can just shoot 40% from 3 and he will make me happy, He has length to play defense and if he can just be a shooter off the bench I would be happy with him as a pick, anything else is a bonus.

Doug, depending on whether he starts or not, will either be a carear shooter like Korver, or a guy like Klay Thompson,

Steals count too. But statistically, Jimmy was the best perimeter defender in the league unless the #s I saw are wrong.

I think Jimmy will see a lot better shots this season than last, but I agree that he won't ever be a great offensive player. I hope I'm wrong.
I don't think Doug will ever be a Klay Thompson type.

I think Butler will make a first team defense, and if he sticks to shooting corner threes, he should be fine offensively, especially playing with a healthy Rose. If McDermott starts, I think he will average 10-15 points per game. If Snell is more aggressive, he could be in competition with Dunleavy for Chicago's number one option off the bench.

I for one am looking forward to (hopefully) seeing Butler play off the ball next to Rose. He was asked to do waaaay too much last season on the offensive end of the court.
