    Jerel Worthy traded to Patriots

Jason Wilde via Twitter - on my phone so can't copy paste it.

RT @BenVolin: Jerel Worthy RT @ChafieFields: Pending physical #Packers DT @I_am_Worthy99 traded to @Patriots! Will help Pats D-Line.

    Rotoworld Post:

Patriots acquired DE Jerel Worthy from the Packers.
According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Pack are getting back a "late-round pick." A 2012 second-rounder, Worthy has yet to practice this summer because of a back injury. A one-gap penetrator in college, Worthy struggled to adjust to DC Dom Capers' two-gap system in Green Bay, and was limited to two games last season after tearing his ACL in January 2013. He's just a flier for the Patriots, who are always stockpiling bodies up front.

Apparently we're only getting a late round pick in return =/

I think they know that he is hurt. So that would strange

But I think it's the best for us. I don't see him making our team (unless PUP/IR) and we get another pick. But he remains a bust here

lmao exactly my thoughts. Interesting none the less that the Packers are giving up on him already. If he can't pass a physical he can certainly be stashed on the IR again.

I do like the fit of Worthy in NE better then Worthy in GB though.

Thinking about it more, we're seemingly tight with NE so I doubt we didn't give them the EXACT med info we had. They should have no surprises.

    Conditional 6th is my guess.

Start the Bring Jolly back campaign. lol.

I did find it interesting that in one of Mike Daniel's press conferences he actually credited Jolly for bringing back the attitude to the defensive line.

Is Jolly even healthy? Packers are pretty conservative regarding those kind of injuries

#Packers will receive a future pick from the Patriots, but only if Worthy makes the team, according to an NFL source.

I don't think any of us can answer that. Seems it's not known?

I thought I heard he was cleared for full football activity? I wasn't being serious about bringing Jolly back. We have a pretty crowded DL group already.

Disappointment. I was so excited when we drafted him. Loved watching him at MSU.

Like Nick said, his agent said he is healthy. But this doesn't mean much. Finley says the same and he still a free agent.
