    Sox: An opposite-field home run launched by Mike Zunino on Friday stood as the first long ball Quintana had allowed in 199 batters faced. With a team off-day on Monday, the White Sox will skip Scott Carroll and send Quintana against the Giants.

    Giants: Searching for his first win since April 25. Peavy, who's 0-12 since that day, comes off a loss Thursday to the Brewers. He surrendered three runs in 5 2/3 innings in the 3-1 loss.
