Both lineups have 1 issue in that there are players (#1 being Drew) who are not signed beyond this season, though I see the latter as having a better chance of becoming reality.

Either way, the real question marks for next year are in the rotation.. where Nova will be out until mid season, CC and Tanaka will be huge question marks. Pineda is looking possible to start the year but only God knows beyond that and Kuroda is a UFA near Retirement age... McCarthy is a UFA, Phelps we can expect to be there and there is a reason Capuano was so cheap...

Wow... 1 out of 8... not a good look into next year.

Yeah let's worry about 2015. When this season isn't even over. Seems legit.

I think they will get a big bat one way or another.

Uhhhhh hell no that lineup can't score runs. The guys with power are always hurt. And in what world do you think Arod belongs hitting fifth at his age and after a year off. He will be a junk hitter. This lineup needs a young star with power. I don't care what they have to do in order to get someone. This team needs someone to build around and issue is there is no one ATM

First off watch 2014, it's going to get better. Arod or Headly playing third I rather have the Headster

Why are we caring about 2015 while in a pennant race ?

Seriously though, this is a sports talk forum. There is a rule. You can't talk about the offseason until the offseason. Even if you want to. Not allowed. Even while you watch Baltimore hit bomb after bomb. 10-3? Ugg.

Let's just hope Stephen Drew isn't in it. I really don't know what anyone sees in that guy. We need an impact bat in there. Case closed. It will be a battle for last place if they go with some of those lineups posted

Stephen Drew is a solid player on a good team that has a strong lineup around him. He is better than he is showing this year. Obviously there are better options out there if you include the trade market.
