Kevin Correia, RHP (5-13, 4.94 ERA/4.35 FIP/4.85 xFIP)vs Julio Teheran, RHP (10-8, 2.92 ERA/3.49 FIP/3.56 xFIP)
Correia will be activated to make this start after his acquisition late Saturday night. While the club hopes for a quality start, he's being used mostly to give the rest of the rotation extra rest.
Teheran will be happy to return home after yet another rough road outing during which he gave up six earned runs in six frames against the Mariners. He is 6-7 with a 4.27 ERA on the road compared to 4-1 with a 1.48 ERA at home.
Tuesday, 8/12 7:10 PM
Dan Haren, RHP (9-9, 4.57 ERA/4.46 FIP/3.76 xFIP)vs Mike Minor, LHP (4-7, 5.42 ERA/4.69 FIP/3.75 xFIP)
Haren snapped a five-game losing streak with a gem against the Angels, allowing one run in 7 1/3 innings and giving the club hope that he's found the right tweak to his mechanics
After his last turn in the rotation was skipped, Minor hopes to get back on track in a tough year. He has given up eight or more hits in five of his past six outings and has seen his ERA jump a full run in his past eight starts.
Wednesday, 8/13 7:10 PM
Hyun-Jin Ryu, LHP (13-5, 3.21 ERA/2.79 FIP/3.19 xFIP)vs Ervin Santana, RHP (11-6, 3.69 ERA/3.22 FIP/3.38 xFIP)
Ryu completely defused the potent Angels lineup with a two-hitter over seven innings. And for this start he gets his preferred fifth day of rest.
Thursday, 8/14 12:10 PMSantana proved efficient in the early going Friday, holding the Nationals hitless on 32 pitches through three innings before unraveling in a four-run sixth. His leads all Atlanta starters with 11 wins.
Roberto Hernandez, RHP (6-8, 3.83 ERA/4.46 FIP/4.50 xFIP)vs Aaron Harang, RHP (9-6, 3.31 ERA/3.65 FIP/4.23 xFIP)
This will be Hernandez's second Dodgers start after a quality debut in Milwaukee. The club hopes he can be this year's Ricky Nolasco-like acquisition.
Harang notched his 18th start of allowing two earned runs or fewer when an Adam LaRoche solo shot was his lone blemish in seven strong innings against the Nationals on Saturday. It was his fifth straight no-decision.
