Cubs Vs. Rays *Javy Comes Home Edition*

    August 8th, 2014 TBR (Archer ) @ CHC (Wada) 3:05 CST
    August 9th, 2014 TBR (Odorizzi) @ CHC (E-Jax) 3:05 CST
August 10th, 2014 TBR (Cobb) @ CHC (Wood) 1:20 CST

Even in Slo-Mo his bat speed is blinding.

A mod can edit this later, and do a much better job I assume. Just wanted to get an IGT down.

When Javy hits a homer, that beautiful sound is actually a combination of two distinct noises:

    1) the percussive effect of the ball striking the sweet spot of the wooden bat
    2) the miniature sonic boom created by the end of his bat breaking the sound barrier

Does the ball truly ever hit the ground though?

False -- Javy's homers never hit the ground.

Nope, Unexplained catches all his home run balls out there on the moon. Well at least the ones the aliens don't get to first.

Javy only 760 HR's shy of passing Barry Bonds! Will he do it this series?

According to ESPN's Home Run Tracker, Javy has not yet hit a homer that would have left all 30 MLB stadiums. Yesterday's first one to left field would have left the most at 29. His first homer three nights ago would have left 25, and his second yesterday would have left 19.

ESPN are just haters, they always hate on the Chicago teams and root for LA, NY, and Boston

Meh. In order to outdo Glenallen Hill, Javy's gonna actually have to hit one OVER the rooftops.
