    Rogers: Esmil Rogers will make his first start for the Yankees in place of David Phelps. Rogers has made two appearances for the Yankees (4.0 IP) and has yet to allow a run.

    McCarthy: McCarthy is unbeaten in five starts since joining the Yankees, having held the Tigers to an unearned run in 5 2/3 innings his last time out. His first Yankees start came in Cleveland on July 9, and he allowed one earned run in 6 2/3 innings.

    I think Esmil Rogers is the guy the Indians traded to the Blue Jays for Yan Gomes.

    Got to watch for a letdown after a tense series like they just had with the Tigers...there should be no letup. I see where the Indians have now lost 3 in a row to the Reds, so they are overdue. I said the same thing when the Rangers came to town and sure enough, they not only won the first game but took the series. So beware of a letdown.

    The Indians offense is sick. Brantley (151 wRC+), Yan Gomes (127 wRC+), Carlos Santana (131 wRC+) and Lonnie Chisenhall (135 wRC+) are all well above average hitters.
