Justin Verlander vs Chris Capuano
Verlander: The hitter-friendly dimensions of new Yankee Stadium have been decidedly unkind to Verlander, who has given up seven home runs over 31 innings in five career outings there -- including a pair in each of his last two visits.
Capuano: Capuano will be making his third start since being acquired by the Yankees, who have lost both of his outings so far. The Red Sox knocked Capuano for four runs and eight hits over 6 1/3 innings last time out.

Rick Porcello vs Shane Greene
Porcello: Porcello has a chance to match his career high in wins with family and friends from his home state of New Jersey looking on. He's 5-1 with a 1.99 ERA over his last seven starts, but has never won at Yankee Stadium.
Greene: Greene bent but did not break in his last outing, recovering from a three-run second inning to give the Yankees 4 2/3 innings on Aug. 2 at Boston. He is 2-1 with a 3.72 ERA in five starts after making his big league debut as a reliever.
