No one has been a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers (meaning since they came west) longer than me. I am in my mid 60's and can remember hearing Scully call the games, thinking, when I grow up, I want to be either Sandy Koufax or Vin. Imagine that. He was so good, and is so good, he makes kids idolize him. To me, this was the best news from yesterday on any subject. One more season.
Here is the question of the day, does anyone think that wealthy people should pay a lower percentage of their income to taxes than middle class people? Don't argue tax brackets, just a simple question. Do you think someone earning 46 million dollars should pay a lower percentage of their income than say someone earning sixty thousand?

Your pretty fortunate to get to listen to Scully all these years.

Vin is a prime example of the greatest generation. He is everything that was good in this country and unfortunately we'll never see anybody like it again.
