Should Russell Wilson get paid top 5 QB money?

Is he worth top 5 QB money? Do you think he's a game manager and is helped greatly by his defense?

IMO he's not worth it, you take that defense away and force him to win you games, I believe he'll struggle.

    Your thoughts?

He should get more than anyone...really, he should.

Too bad Seattles FO isn't dumb enough to do that.

He's not worth it (yet, at least) because he has less responsibilities than other QBs making that much....but he'll get it.

People should stop talking about him just being a game manager in the past with this contract. The Seahawks will be paying him for the potential he has in the future and I (plus a lot of other people) feel he is worth close to top tier money. He will certainly be slightly overpaid but 90% of QB's will get overpaid, that's just the NFL for you.

Yes, if they give him more responsibility within the offense then he could definitely be worth it in the near future. And they will probably HAVE to give him more responsibility because if your QB is making $20M+ you will have to make cuts in other areas of the team.

I hope they overpay him so they can't give that money to more important guys on the team.

He's a good QB, but top 5 QB money?

He's good not special. He can run an offense, he can come from behind, but he has one of the best offensive lines in the game, a great running back, and a fantastic defense that allows you to feel comfortable taking bigger chances.

He'll get it, and deservedly so.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

Got no problem with anything you said other than the bolded. Huge misconception.
