The NFL Network will televise the first two Dallas preseason games live

The Dallas Cowboys' first two preseason games will be shown live on the NFL Network, but the first one may be pushed back a little.
The Cowboys' first preseason contest against the San Diego Chargers in San Diego will be joined in progress and televised live by NFLN. The game begins at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, but the NFL Network won't carry the game until the conclusion of the San Francisco 49ers-Baltimore Ravens preseason clash, which begins at 7:30 p.m. EDT.

The NFL Network also plans to repeat the Cowboys-Chargers game three times -- at midnight Sunday, August 10th EDT (stretching into early Monday morning); at midnight Tuesday, August 12th (into the early morning hours of Wednesday); and later on Wednesday, August 13th at 4 p.m..

The Saturday, August 16th preseason game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium will be televised live nationally by NFLN, beginning at 7 p.m. EDT.

The NFL Network will air replays of the game at midnight Sunday, August 17th EDT (and into early Monday morning), and at 1 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 21st.

The Cowboys' third preseason game, on the road against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, August 23rd, will be tape delayed by NFLN and shown Sunday night at midnight.

Dallas' final preseason game against the Denver Broncos at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, August 28th will be tape delayed and aired several hours later -- early Friday morning at 2 a.m. EDT. Another replay is scheduled for Sunday, August 31st at 8 p.m. EDT.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the team doesn't suffer many more preseason injuries as the regular-season opener against San Francisco nears.

Let's hope you're right about that. Most observers have said the Niners have been playing possum in the preseason. They'll probably unveil an explosive offensive attack on Sunday.

That's possible. I definitely do not expect them to be as bad on offense as they've been during the preseason. Defensively though they've taken some major bits this off season so I'm thinking this one could be a shootout and anyone's game.
