                                27 BB's 47

    Scouting Report:
Dodgers: Greinke allowed four first-inning runs Saturday in St. Louis, but settled down after to complete 5 2/3 innings with only the first-inning blemish on his line. He has allowed 12 runs in first innings this season, more than any other frame.

Giants: Lincecum had one of his better road outings Sunday against the Marlins, as he went seven innings with seven whiffs. But a few mistakes, including two wild pitches and a homer, cost him three runs and a loss.

    Game 2: Saturday, July 26th @ 6:05 PM

    VS.
    Clayton Kershaw......Ryan Vogelsong

    Code:
                                Kershaw Vogelsong

                                14 BB's 32

    Scouting Report:
Dodgers: Kershaw drew a no-decision in St. Louis, where his leadership was called upon to retaliate for the repeated plunkings of Hanley Ramirez. He was charged with three runs for the first time since May 28.

Giants: Weakened by a cold, Vogelsong yielded a career-high 11 hits in his last start at Philadelphia. He permitted 10 hits to the Indians on June 22, 2003, and to the Cubs on April 14, 2004.

    Game 3: Sunday, July 27th @ 5:07 PM

    VS.
    Hyun-Jin Ryu..........Yusmeiro Petit
    Code:
                                Ryu Petit
                                19 Starts 6 (27 games)
                                11 Wins 3
                                5 Losses 3
                                3.39 ERA 4.24
                                1.21 WHIP 1.21
                                111.2 IP 68.0
                                98 K's 71
                                22 BB's 17

    Scouting Report:
Dodgers: Ryu has been solid all season, especially on the road, where he's 7-2. He credits his consistency to new breaking balls he's picked up from Clayton Kershaw and Josh Beckett.

Giants: Like most pitchers, Petit thrives at AT&T Park, where he has recorded a 3.11 ERA this year in 17 appearances, including three starts. He has not pitched more than six innings in any of his six starts this season.

Whenever his elbow chills out. The Giants are notorious for never really giving timetables.

Uggla's going deep in his first AB

Would you trust a blind scout? Of course you wouldn't but that's what you do when you simply go by stats

Too bad Scutaro is a shell of his former self. He's hitting .391/.462/.565 vs. Greinke.

The giants are the first team that gets to see the CF Puig experiment, so this should be fun.

That would ensure that he starts for the next two weeks no matter what else he does

I don't think he'll do too badly, as long as he doesn't try to dive for **** all the time.

Just by being Dan Uggla, he's going to have a long leash from Bochy. Unless he strikes out his first 6 straight ABs, he's probably got a few starts before Bochy gives Abreu a shot.

He certainly has the tools to play the position. Though he's a 245 lb CF, god damn. He only started playing the OF like 2 years ago, I don't know if he will take good enough routes out there.
