    Trading QBs...

With all of the excitement that was stirred up by Jaws rankings of QBs in the Main, I thought that I'd start a thread.

    Here's Jaws rankings:

    32 Matt Cassel Minnesota Vikings
    31 Ryan Fitzpatrick Houston Texans
30 Geno Smith New York Jets
    29 Jake Locker Tennessee Titans
    28 EJ Manuel Buffalo Bills
    27 Chad Henne Jacksonville Jaguars
    26 Brian Hoyer Cleveland Browns
25 Josh McCown Tampa Bay Buccaneers
24 Sam Bradford St. Louis Rams
    23 Ryan Tannehill Miami Dolphins
    22 Matt Schaub Oakland Raiders
21 Robert Griffin III Washington Redskins
    20 Carson Palmer Arizona Cardinals
    19 Jay Cutler Chicago Bears
    18 Andy Dalton Cincinnati Bengals
17 Alex Smith Kansas City Chiefs
    16 Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions
    15 Nick Foles Philadelphia Eagles
    14 Cam Newton Carolina Panthers
13 Colin Kaepernick San Francisco 49ers
    12 Tony Romo Dallas Cowboys
11 Eli Manning New York Giants
    10 Joe Flacco Baltimore Ravens
    9 Russell Wilson Seattle Seahawks
    8 Matt Ryan Atlanta Falcons
7 Philip Rivers San Diego Chargers
    6 Ben Roethlisberger Pittsburgh Steelers
    5 Andrew Luck Indianapolis Colts
4 Drew Brees New Orleans Saints
3 Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers
2 Tom Brady New England Patriots
    1 Peyton Manning Denver Broncos

I want to see four lists:

#1: Which QBs would you take, hands down, over JC.
#2: Which young QB who may not have proved themselves yet, but you feel will be better then JC in the future.
#3: Which QBs would you consider "near" JC's abilities and may consider trading for.
#4: The QBs that you would never consider swapping JC for.

    Aaron Rodgers
    Andrew Luck

#2: Which young QB who may not have proved themselves yet, but you feel will be better then JC in the future.

    Cam Newton
Colin Kaepernick- because it feels like he ***** on the Packers every time they play

    Russell Wilson

The rest I'm not really interested in. I'm excluding Peyton, Brady, and Brees because of their age.

This list is hilarious to me. I'm not sure how Cutler can be lower on Jaw's list this season then he has in the past when he literally has become a better QB these last couple seasons.

I don't understand the Matt Ryan love either. At all.

The question is which jersey to get out of Cutty, Alshon, and Bmarsh. Though Cutty is 31 he's still a boss...

Especially after last year, it makes very little sense. Sure, the injury derailed his overall totals, but last year was probably his best season as a pro and had he stayed on the field, he would have set career highs almost across the board.

As for the thread question, I think obviously you take Rodgers & Luck, maybe Cam or RGIII, but otherwise the rest of the elite QB's are old (and Brady sure as hell isn't elite anymore either, but that's another topic) and the middle of the pack QB's listed ahead of Jay all have their flaws. I'll stick with him in this offense with this talent around him.

Thank you for saying it. I get that Brady has less than Hester, Knox, and Bennett to throw to; but he has never had much to throw to for his career. When I watch him, I think he's reached a point where the game is starting to get too fast for him. He is still a good QB. He'll do enough to keep them competitive and winning but he doesn't belong in the top 5 discussion anymore. He is the Derek Jeter of the NFL.

I really think there are only two answers to a no-brainer upgrade on Cutty: Rodgers and Luck. Peyton Manning is my favorite athlete ever; but the finesse game he and Brees need to play to be successful at this point in their careers isn't a great fit for post-season football.
