What spot is Olt gonna play in Iowa? I get the point of sending him down cause currently he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, but I don't see how this is gonna work down there

It could mean a few things. The first is that he's going to play 1b or DH. Which is probably the most likely scenario. The second is also interesting: he could play 3b. Which would mean Kris Bryant would transition to the OF. The team's made it somewhat of a point the last 2 weeks to begin to transition players. Baez seems like he's now a 2b. Alcantara is seeing more and more time in CF. Could Bryant be the next player to move?

Not sure. But it's a possibility. We'll see soon enough.

Yeah I could see that actually. I'd rather keep Bryant at 3B at this moment but if they do to him what they did to Mendy and get him some OF playing time, its fine with me

If Baez is a 2B now, we don't really have a 3B. So the Bryant to OF theory doesn't work for me.

If Bryant starts in left field the next game I'm going to have a raging clue
