Bulls' Forum Top-25 NBA Players 2014 Ranking: #7

Poll: Vote for which player you feel takes the cake as the 7th best player in the league (if you feel like a player should be on the list that's not, then mention him in the thread and he could end up being on the next poll). Now, this is NOT for who will be the 7th best player for next season. This is who is the 7th best player as of this summer. Vote accordingly please. [Players that did not play a significant amount of time won't be added to the poll i.e. Kobe, Derrick]

    1. Lebron James
    2. Kevin Durant
    3. Chris Paul
    4. Stephen Curry
    5. Kevin Love
    6. Anthony Davis

This one's tough. I can see arguments for George, Westbrook, and even Harden but I went Griffin. Funny but if Griffin finishes above Westbrook is it time we start looking at the Clippers as a stronger core than the Thunder? Paul/Griffin/Jordan I don't know but maybe.

No more Rose? When is football season again?

I think George, Westbrook, or Griffin could all go here. Again though I have to go with Westbrook. The Clippers/Thunder are pretty neck and neck in terms of core, but I think Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka is still a fair share better than CP3/Blake/Jordan (Durant >> Paul; Westbrook = Griffin; Ibaka I'd take over Jordan as well)

Joakim had a better season than anyone else listed, that's how I've been voting.

At least you're consistent with it I could agree with Joakim having the best season of anyone listed, but that doesn't mean I think he's the 7th best player in the league. Kevin Durant had the best season this year, but that doesn't mean I think he's better than Lebron

Pretty sure you meant Harden over George, if not though:
Really good efficiency + really good defense at a prime position > elite efficiency + (-) defense

that's because of his team's downfall. George was FANTASTIC this season. 22/7/3.5 on 55/49/107 this year for an anemic offensive team with nobody else as a consistent threat offensively (no, Lance doesn't count imo).

Dropping from top-3 MVP to top-15 doesn't mean that you're not a better player than James Harden.

I'm going with Westbrook. He's a freak and a force of destruction whenever he's in his zone. I've seen him win more playoff games past season than Durant, and he gets way too much **** anyway.

Can't vote with my phone sorry.

Best season doesn't mean best player though. Kevin Durant had the best season, doesn't mean he's better than Lebron.
