Fredi expects Gattis to be in the lineup for this one. Hopefully, no set backs.

Should strengthen our lineup (though Fredi is probably going to hit TLS 8th..where he should stay at 7th and have Chris hit 8th).

Once EOB gets his timing back and if the lineup stays on par with their production (B.J/Simba not being blackholes) and no injuries of course...I can see us going on one of those 10+ game winning streaks.

    Lets get it.

Hope we win the first two games because the last two won't be easy.

I just hope TLS don't put any pressure on himself, I believe that if he keeps the same mentality he will be there to stay as the number two hitter.

Boy Fredi is a tough one to figure out. Is this because he wants EOB to work his way back to being EOB and not just immediately plug him at cleanup? Does he feel that TLS deserves to hit in the top of the order and has given him a second shot to prove himself up there?

While Simba's (and B.J's for that matter) slash line aren't all that impressive at their respective spots (.286/.343/.330 .673 OPS, .306 wOBA, 93 wRC+ at 2nd)..it's not like they have been blackholes up there. We have gotten production that we can live with.

Has Fredi thought that he better stop while he's ahead with Simba?? All interesting.

But TLS at the top of the order makes sense so that's not the problem...it's up to TLS to prove it right.

Another oddity...Fredi doesn't like to hit lefties back to back... in any spot of the lineup. Just strange to see him mess with something that hasn't really been that big of an issue. Maybe that's all because of TLS being beastly?

Either way...excited to see what happens

The really interesting thing is that DOB posted a completely different lineup which had Simmons in the 2 and Gattis at the bottom. Looked almost like he just switched Gattis and Bethancourt.

11 K's for JT through 7 innings. Naturally can't score for him but at least tied.

that's the end of JT's night actually...so we can either have him on the line for a possible win..or a tough luck no decision.

well schafer failed to bunt simba over...but he made sure he got into scoring position himself stealing 2nd with ease.

all is well there. That's why you should keep schafer..

B.J hit it well but to dead center, schafer moves up..

Walden doesn't need to throw that slider for a strike with the way those marlins are swinging..they will handle it for him.

    2 K's in a scoreless 8th for Walden.

    Big boys coming up.

Oh boy, Freeman is 2-41 against the Marlins this year that's just incredible, I don't really understand why is he swinging at all those pitches outside the zone. TLS was 0-5 in his first game back as the number 2 hitter, last time he was there he went on a 2-21 slump or something like that. Johnson was really the problem this game, he came up with runners in scoring position three times and couldn't get the big hit, that is the game right there. I like the lineup the way it was tonight but I don't know if the players feel comfortable the way it is.
