What are you most excited to see for the 2014-2015 season?

As excited as I am about the Ebron/Van Noy picks, and the Golden Tate signing.....i'm actually most excited to see how the secondary/depth targets (Fauria, Pettigrew, Riddick, Ogletree/Ross/Broyles) fit into this "NO style offense" which is supposed to consistently rotate personnel to exploit matchups and get everyone involved.

So, what are you most looking forward to seeing?

I said this is the other thread.. Im not sure what im most excited for, seeing all the 2nd year guys develop i guess would be the "most", what a draft last year man...

I think im more excited for this season than i have been in years, So many things... Tate, The rooks (esp ebron) The 2nd year guys (esp Fauria), Having two safeties for once, new D scheme (hated that vanilla crap), Stafford finally getting a new coaching staff to help his progression since the last one thought he was perfect... Hell more stuff than i feel like listing..

Will be a very disappointing season if it dont go well with all the Kool Aid and hope in and around Detroit lol

I'd have to agree, the new offensive system is really intriguing for me. Specifically I want to see how Riddick falls into all of this. All the hype says he is gonna break out but I'm a bit apprehensive. It'll be nice if he turns into a Darren Sproles-esque player.

Riddick sucks, we need to stop drafting these Notre Dame bums!

Most excited to see if Stafford is done growing as a QB or if he'll explode in this offense... or fall flat on his face

I'm looking forward to seeing the team 'click'. The Lions have the talent to be a great team, they just have not clicked, gelled, come together, whatever you want to call it. We need to make plays and put teams away. We can win games if we just finish drives and play above average defense and get a key turnover or special teams play.

The most important games in my mind are the Panthers and Packers at the beginning of the season. We need to beat a playoff team on the road and a healthy Packer team at home. This will set the tone for the team and instill a winning approach. The Giants and Jets games should be won also but the players need to know they can beat anyone in order to live up to their potential, hence the Panther and Pack games mean more.

I hope Golden Tate and Ihedigbo help the players transition to a winning mentality. Guys like Stafford and Calvin have the desire but they haven't been able to pull the rest of the dead weight through. More winners on the team is a step in the right direction.

Def excited about seeing the new offensive and defensive schemes. Most excited about seeing the what culture Caldwell brings in with him, whether or not he holds players accountable for their actions and if he can inspire a team that in the past has generally **** the bed in the second half of the season and pissed away more 4th quarter leads than I care to remember.

How many good seasons does one have to have in order to make up for one "bad" season?

For me, I'm just excited to see if the Detroit Lions look like a professional football team for the first time in my life. I'm tired of the "same old Lions". It sounds like they're doing all the right things for once, but until I see it on the field, I still expect to see the same joke of a franchise ive watched my whole life.
