Hopefully early or the Greek Freak 2.0 are the next diamonds in the rough we find. On topic though if hardaway even gets replacement level on d he will be an all star one day . Kid can flat out ball on the other end of the floor

I know it's just summer league but he has improved his midrange and actually improved his off the dribble work. I worry about his defense

Forget the end of the season, he should start at the beginning of the season... Shump has played 30 plus minutes for three seasons, we know what he is already. Tim Hardaway and the Knicks both, need to see what may happen if the kid is giving a legitimate shot with starter minutes.

Let him make his mistakes on both offense and defense, next year is a transitional year anyway.

I've watched the games. He's been driving, shooting threes, shooting mid-range jumpers, teardrops, off the dribble. He's been a treasure to watch. I hope he can get up to 15 PPG on a playoff team this year.

    His defense will come along.

It's to the point with Tim Hardaway Jr. that I don't know if I would include him in a deal for a Rondo or Gasol at the deadline. We have money to get those guys in the offseason, same situation with Melo in 2011.

Hardaway Jr. could thrive next to a guy like Rondo in the backcourt, so we'll see what happens. But I think this guy can become an absolute scoring star. Putting up 10 a game as a rook was solid and he's shown massive improvements from being a catch and shoot guy in the summer league.

The only guy I'd consider throwing TH Jr. in a trade for would be Kevin Love, but they will have better offers for him.
