welp..oh well..can see how active it got..

Took game 1 against Burnett. J-hey with a homer. Simba continues to produce in the 2-hole. Pen shut it down. Nats lost too.

    Great day.

Simmons has been excellent hitting second, .313/.367/.361 I doubt he can keep up that production but he has really pass the test so far, BJ still sucks but he at least isn't performing like the worst hitter in the league right now, we have a tough assignment tonight and both Simmons and BJ are a combined 1-25 against Hamels so we'll see.

Harang has had runners everywhere and of course we can't touch Hamels.

Seeing the matchups for tonight, we definitely weren't in favor of winning this one. Not only do we just not hit off Hamels, and continued to not do so, but Harang was on the mound.

Turns out Harang pulled out another magic act..and Shae Simmons, of all people, got beat. Offense continued to fail against elite pitching but that's something that isn't surprising.

Do expect to win this series though...but that ****in "meh" Kendrick is on the mound and the Braves just loathe at the idea of giving run support to any of Wood's starts...so that has the makings of a frustrating *** game.

Tied again for first. Gonna be like this the entire second half, I bet.

TL is so clutch with the bases juiced! Carp sucks, but the other pitchers today did solid! Stayed even with the Gnats.

Holy greatness. We hit off Kendrick AGAIN. This must be a sign of good things to come. We can barely manage to hit off him once..but we did it multiple times this season.

Love TLS. This kid is just so ****in smart and disciplined..it's just a breath of fresh air to this lineup. RISP and you just feel confident that he's going to deliver...at the very least put up a good at-bat.

Wood continues his excellence as a starter...thank goodness the Braves moved him back into the rotation. He may very well end up being our best pitcher by the end of the season. His 3.45 FIP is second only to Santana's (3.35) and he's already got a 1.0 WAR and he's got the least amount of starts (11). JT has a 1.9 WAR (20 starts), Santana 1.7 WAR (18 starts), and Harang has a 1.5 WAR (20 starts)

All in all. Lost the game where we really weren't favored to win (even though Harang went toe to toe with Hamels) and won the games we should of won. Series win. No complaints...well except the fact that the Nats are keeping pace...but that's just how the **** goes. Whatever.

    Onward.
