Some food for thought for those unconvinced about Paus worth or Pau being an upgrade over boozer.

Pau Gasol numbers at this moment in time

    Points 16576
    Rebounds 8336
    Asists 2981
    Blocks 1484.

List of Nba players that have at LEAST the same number of Pt/Rb/As/Bks that him or more.

    Wilt*
    Kareem
    Shaquille
    Hakeem
    Tim Duncan
    Kevin Garnett

Thats it, End of the list.

    * nba didnt start taking note of blocks until late on his career so he doe snot "officilly" have more than Pau but its a given.

Those are career numbers. Nobody cares about those. That's a poor argument for why Pau's better than Boozer.

They've thought Pau sucked for a long time and every time I've told them his defense is nothing compared to Boozer's, some of them said they'd rather have Boozer.

I'm so excited to see this duo flourish with us. And I think pairing Mirotic with Gasol adds a formidable and unique dynamic. Gasol can not only mentor him as a big who can stretch the floor but also serve as a translator for Mirotic. There are few who are better to learn from than Gasol.

I give Boozer credit for his scoring over the years and those once-in-a-blue-moon strips under the basket on defense. He is very professional and a great teammate. Not worth his old contract though.

I cannot describe how excited I am for Mirotic. But also Pau; he is better than people give him credit for. His footwork and ability to stretch the floor are both certainly better than Boozer's. I'm excited to see Pau as a "piece" and not have shoes to fill. lol I can't contain my excitement.

People cite Mirotic's ppg as a skeptic's argument. What they fail to realize is that regulation is 40 minutes per game, not 48. Either way, Mirotic is very talented. Now we are going to stretch the floor like crazy and blow [Bulls Offense] skeptic's minds I think we can secure the #1 seed.

    Wow

Take my sig for example. Pau or Taj would seal the paint on a fast break, not float and push. We are going to be a fundamentally sound team!
