2014 AFC South Discussion and Predictions

A thread to discuss the AFC South and only teams in the AFC South.

    Indianapolis Colts
    Jacksonville Jaguars
    Houston Texans
    Tennessee Titans

Who do you see winning the division? How do you envision each team's top draft pick performing this season? Who will have the best Offense and who will have the best Defense? Any predictions or bold predictions you'd like to share?

The AFC South plays the AFC North and NFC East this season.

Colts steamroll the division once again as the 3 other teams all have their rookies starting for them by Week 12.

I see the Colts cruising. Titans are a question mark, I'm not expecting anything from the Jags yet, Houston could surprise but I'm not willing to put blind faith in them at this point.

Should be Colts division rather easily. Between being in this division and playing the NFC East, I think the Colts can steal a 1st round bye from the Pats or Broncos. Titans will probably win 6 or 7 games again, they aren't terrible but not good enough. Texans have more talent than 2-14 but the QB position is very abysmal. Foster and the defense will win them some games. The Jaguars future looks bright in a year or 2. This year is more about growth and they should win 5 or 6 games

2014 AFC South Discussion and Predictions

Agree with all of you that the Colts will run away with this division. Gonna watch out for the Texans and see how they rebound from a tough season last year.

My prediction: Colts will destroy this division, and will end up with a 12-4 or better record as a result of beating up on their divisional rivals and the nfc east. I think the texans will win 5-6 games, the titans probably 6-7, jags 4-5.

Houston's defense should be fun to watch. I also think it'll be interesting to see how Ken Whisenhunt does with the Titans offense. I really like Wright and Hunter, and I've always thought Locker was a bit better than what he's shown. Bishop Sankey should be solid as well.

Dont underestimate JAX, they have vastly improved from last year. They should come out of that division at number 2

A vast improvement would put them on even footing at best with the other two teams not named the colts, so picking them to place 2nd is pretty bold. How many wins do you think they get this year?

Lol, no. That roster is still trash, it's better. But still bad.

I have no idea what Tennessee is anymore. But if JAX ends up #2 I'll faint.

They'll fight for 6 wins and last.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to surprise a lot of people too I think. Not with huge numbers but with efficient ones. IMO he is what people think Brian Hoyer is.
