    Warriors sign Brandon Rush

The Warriors and Brandon Rush have reached agreement on a two-year deal with a player option for the final season, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports (Twitter links). Itíll be worth a total of $2.5MM, a source tells Shams Charania of ****** (Twitter link). The precise value is most likely $2,416,649, which would be his minimum salary for this coming season and 2015/16, since capped-out Golden State is without its biannual exception this year and already committed nearly all of its mid-level to Shaun Livingston.

this can be moved to the off season thread if wanted.

Nice vet minimum move. I'm curious to see what Rush has left.

last time they brought in rush, it was for tanking purposes. seemed liek the more minutes he played- the less the team cared about wins. LOL- might as well go out and sign mcguire

Fantastic move if he can stay healthy. Capable defender and a good 3 point shooter. Perfect fit.

Rush will only be playing garbage minutes likely. Cool to see him back though.

You are underselling Rush. If he can be the player he was with us. Wasn't he sixth man of the year runner up?

He hasn't really been the same player since his injury. He didn't play significant minutes for the tanking Jazz last year. If he can still shoot threes, then it would be a worthwhile signing. It doesn't really matter though since they signed him with the vet's minimum- low risk high reward I suppose.

He's a year removed from last year. The fact that he was working out for 15 teams, and the dubs signed him within 24 hours is a pretty powerful indication that Rush has something we need.
