    Bold NBA predictions:
    1. By the end of the season we think Rudy Gobert is our center of the future.
    2. We see drastic improvements and realize how bad coach Corbin was.
    3. Alec Burks replaces Hayward as the #1 scoring option.

    Bold PSD predictions:
    1. Lo posts 20 trade ideas for Kanter and one of them he gets right.
    2. JazzNC finally starts to show some love for Favors.
    3. Jumba loves coach Snyder and can't stop making comments about how much better he is than Corbin.

Kanter averages 16 Ppg and 8 boards.
Favors takes the reigns as the leader of the team.
    Hood is the 6th man.
Lucas is cut and can't becomes a bench player in the Philippines.

My bold prediction: We almost make or we make the playoffs.

Why: It's already apparent in how the guys talk (not just rookies but Trey and Gobert too) that the players completely buy into the system Coach Q is selling. When players enjoy the game, they play harder and they win more. If the vets (our vets who are only in their early 20's) also buy in, nobody in the league will want to play us. We should run teams into the ground. We will go from nobody protecting the post a few years ago to having 3 guys (Favors, Gobert and Booker). We go from zero PG's the first 15 games of the year to having 2 very good ones. All of our youth is older and better developed. We replace the limited Richard Jefferson with the promising Rodney Hood.

One thing I remember from last year once Trey started playing - going into the 4th quarter of most of our games, we were within a couple points or had the lead. I wish I had the stats, but we lost so many games in the 4th quarter. Our old wings, inefficient coaching, and unprepared young players just couldn't hold leads or stay in games. I think a lot of that changes this year.

My 2nd bold prediction - the Utah Jazz will be the team everybody is talking about and fearing as the "young team on the rise" going into the 2015-16 season. Just as the San Antonio dynasty rose right when the Sloan/Stockton/Malone Jazz dynasty was fading, the Jazz dynasty will begin being born.

I guess I don't need to make my Snyder thread now! haha that gave me a laugh.
Agreed with Chip, not so bold! But much appreciated.

Should we target Mills, Bogut or Dellavadova? And technically, Kyrie Irving was actually born in Melbourne too.

boomer, i was thinking motum would make the team. i like his hustle and we can always use hustle guys on the end of the bench. i might not oppose landing irving or the others you listed, but i like the team and can't wait to see what they can do.

I wasn't even thinking about Motum when I listed all the Aussies I could think of, but I agree, I like his hustle and energy and am rooting for him to make the roster.

Along those lines, as a prediction, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jazz continue along the San Antonio mold and end up with more foreign players, who seem to fit well in the smaller markets. We already have a handful.
