DUI Charges against Jonas have been dropped

The evidence at the time seemed spotty so I am not surprised the charges have been dropped. I don't have a link.

Pretty much what I expected there wasn't a really great case to start.

This is the first we heard about JV since the season ended. I wonder what he's doing?

I didn't really follow this but how was the evidence spotty? DUI's don't really require much in the way of evidence.

Yes he did and he is probably still on his honeymoon.

It sounded like witnesses saw him at a drive-thru with open bottles in the car. Then he went home and the police came to the place and gave him a breathalyzer.

Don't get me wrong, he probably did it but I don't think they could prove it.

Glad he had a scare put in him for his questionable judgement. Also glad that he can move past this; hopefully a smarter man.

OK so he wasn't pulled over. Just wondering because all you need is "was he over the limit?" and "was he driving?".

    1. unless you are behind the wheel you can not be charged. there is no way that case would hold up in court even for the average person.

    2. you have a right to refuse the breathalizer, spend the night in a holding cell and free to go in the moring. again once court comes around, with out that breathalizer they cant prove you were intoxicated.

    3. even if the keys are not in the ignition and you are sleeping in your car, they still cant charge you.

good for Jonas, he didn't need that wrap... Hope he doesn't think he is invisible though now, because next time he could hurt someone or himself.

no it doesn't, no amount of money would get you off on a dui charge. you're gonna bribe a judge ? the only thing you can do is hire the best lawyer possible. other than that money doesn't help you get off on a dui.
