how much cap will the knicks have in 2015

    http://www.sheridanhoops.com/2014/06...-and-analysis/
chris Sheridan just updated our projected salary for 2015

this is it probably add another 1 mill for early's contract 45,410,000 so it's 46,410,000

now im no genius but jr shump and prigs combine to make 12 mill

if we can unload jr let shump walk and prigs has a team option those moves should not be hard to make pur team salary would be 34 mill now add our 2015 first and cap holds we are now at 39 mill but we could either trade our pick for a future first or draft a European player and stash him

boom we are back down to 37 mill we could also decline the option on larkin or trade him for extra cap

so imo we could easily have 30 mill in cap in 2015

I think they will either stretch jr or maybe he opts out. Knicks will offer shump his qo I would think. I would say anywhere between 25-27

Rondo n gasol IMO .... It depends tho cus if rondo comes back healthy won't the celtics trade him n whoever wants him n is willing to trade will want to sign him before they trade him? And if he's not healthy then we just pass on him

steal of the draft cleanthony early

Can we get through this off season first??? not sure what the rush is to unload everyone....how about we see who fits and who does not in the new system before we give them away???

You are already looking at getting rid of half the guys we will have left on the roster I do not want to have 3 players on the roster and have to fill in with Min salaries ...just does not make sense!!

It certainly sounds like Phil likes Shump A LOT judging by summer league interview...lets not be so fast to just let him walk.. larkin looks real solid so far and is on a rookie contract..and you want to move him to clear 1.7mil??

Slow your roll and see what these guys have first!!

you guys are nuts if you think pj would give up on the chance for gasol and rondo or dragic I think the love gasol scenario is dead unless we move jc but the we won't have a pg dragic is very interesting cuz of his size he can also play the two and be that 2nd scorer we need and gasol is just icing on the cake

If the most Marc can get is 18 that's huge. Jr and label combine is 8 million. That's should be enough to add one more quality starter and still keep our core guys like Jose/thjr/Larkin/early/thansis/2015 draft pick

Anyone think shump will take the QO?

Im with you on that as well. I think him and Gasol should be our first priorty. But that would mean that either calderon comes of the bench, or we trade him, cause I refuse to let shane larkin go. Larkin is that good, just needs to develop some. But again Gasol and Dragic should be our first priority.
