    2014 MLB All-Star Game thread

Cards ace Adam Wainwright and M's superstar Felix Hernandez are the starting pitchers for Tuesday night's All-Star Game.

The Derby that begins Monday night at 8 p.m. ET at Target Field -- and on ESPN -- will be decidedly different.

Wainwright said he thinks Giancarlo Stanton could win this home run derby.

I haven't watched a home run derby in years. Well, I haven't SUCCESSFULLY watched a home run derby in years. I try to but it is just boring now. I don't know why it has lost it's charm. Maybe that is part of growing up or something, maybe its more for the younger fans. Which still makes it important, but I don't care.

I voted for stanton though. Guy is fun to watch hit.

My Dad's coworker ran into Miller, Kelly, Wacha, Wong, and Adams on the river. The guys were floating on the river. So I guess they're enjoying their break.

Current River somewhere. Miller's wife is from that area. Apparently Miller's father-in-law owns a campground there somewhere.

Cardinal pitchers are the only NL pitchers giving up runs today. What's the deal?
