I haven't looked at the stats, but how is the good doctor not on the list?

I couldnt find a consecutive streak he put together as impressive as the others. He was probably just more consistent troughout the whole season.

I think I might have to go Johan and his 21 straight quality starts. Honestly for me it's prob. between him or Pedro. Although can't we consider Pedro's 1999 season 15 years ago??? If we do then well it's that and that alone on it's own island far away.

Shameless nomination but, Prior's 03 season prob. deserves consideration compared to a few on the list.

    Good call:

I might have to go with Ubaldo here... started the year 15-1... carried an ERA under 1 until June 11...while playing in Colorado...

If you're doing past 15 years don't you need to include Pedro's 1999 or 2000?

yeah, forgot about that one! he had a bit more BBs during his stretch, but still had a sick ERA, especially considering he was in COL for many of the games!

Literally 2 of the best seasons in the history of the MLB by a starting pitcher

I checked those seasons, but 2002 was his best streak.

Possibly, but this poll is about best "streaks/stretches", not best full season average.

I'd say he had the best 200 inning "streak" then.
