    Scouting Report:
    Athletics: Hammel will be making his A's debut, following Friday's trade from the Cubs, but he's faced the Giants plenty in his career. The righty posted a 2.98 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 17 starts for Chicago, striking out 104 in 108 2/3 innings.

    Giants: Cain owns an 8-11 lifetime Interleague record despite a respectable 3.01 ERA in 23 starts. This season, he has a 3.73 ERA at home, compared with 4.78 on the road.

    Scouting Report:
    Athletics: Kazmir continued his brilliance against the Blue Jays on Saturday, holding them to one run on three hits in seven innings. The lefty threw a season-high 113 pitches while lowering his ERA to 2.53.

    Giants: The Giants are 11-5 when Hudson starts, including 7-2 at AT&T Park, where his ERA this year is 2.54. He's 18-19 with a 4.17 ERA in 49 career Interleague starts.
