LOVE this. I really wanted danny when he was bought out

Some people will say he is washed up but he's only 31, he will get closer to his regular self this offseason

I like this move only because we got him for CHEAP. He's missed a ton of games in a short time span, but if you aren't a short-sighted individual, you'd know how solid he is on both ends (not great, but solid.)

I'm actually puzzled by the move.

Heat can turn Granger's bi-annual deal into trade-exception move by making it a trade with Clippers, giving L.A. their own trade exception.

Adding Ennis and Granger to our bench this year should allow us to rest Wade without worries of drop offs. Wade is obviously superior to both but both are superior to James Jones as well.

While I can't confidently agree he'll get closer to his regular or "old self", i do believe he can develop into a solid bench player who can give us 15-18 minutes a night. We need scoring off the bench and most importantly, depth. Granger could provide both.

One way or another I hope Granger is training with all the specialists he can find so that his knee is right and he has a bounce back season. I'm sure he's looking to have a contract year type season and then cash out for one last good check. I read the 2nd year is a player option.
