Monday, July 7, 7:10 PM EDT (Shane Greene vs. Justin Masterson)
Greene will be summoned from Triple-A to start in place of the traded Vidal Nuno. Greene made his Major League debut on April 24 vs. the Red Sox, allowing three unearned runs in one-third of an inning.
Masterson has dealt with an up-and-down season, and those inconsistencies only continued during the team's last road trip. He has surrendered eight runs on 14 hits with seven walks in a combined seven innings in his past two starts.
Tuesday, July 8, 7:05 PM EDT (Masahiro Tanaka vs. Trevor Bauer)
Tanaka picked up his 12th win against Minnesota on Thursday, but the game marked the first time in 17 career outings that he didn't earn a quality start. The right-hander also gave up a career-high nine hits.
Bauer has been solid if unspectacular for the Tribe lately, allowing three or four earned runs in each of his past six outings. He has dealt with uneven command over that span, throwing 25 strikeouts to 13 walks in 36 1/3 innings.
Wednesday, July 9, 7:05 PM EDT (Brandon McCarthy vs. Josh Tomlin)
McCarthy will make his Yankees debut after coming over from Arizona in a trade for Vidal Nuno. The right-hander won his last two starts for the D-backs, allowing a combined three runs in 12 2/3 innings.
Tomlin had an otherwise respectable night spoiled by a homer from Mike Moustakas in his last start. He finished with five runs allowed on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings -- the third time he's surrendered as many runs in his last four outings.
Thursday, July 10, 7:05 PM EDT (David Phelps vs. T.J. House)
Phelps was very effective in the Yankees' 2-1 loss against the Twins on Saturday. He gave up just one run on three hits over seven innings while striking out three in a no-decision.
House earned his first Major League win in his last outing, allowing three runs and walking none over 6 2/3 innings against Kansas City. He has three quality outings in seven starts this season.
