    PSD Power Rankings: QB's

Rank the top 32 non-rookies at each position (this week: QB), and after each week I'll average out all the rankings and come up with the unofficially official PSD NFL PR's. I realize that something similar was done earlier this offseason, but since it never really took off, I figured I'd try a new approach to this.

    QB:

    1. Aaron Rodgers - GB
    2. Peyton Manning - DEN
    3. Tom Brady - NE
    4. Drew Brees - NO
    5. Philip Rivers - SD
    6. Ben Roethlisberger - PIT
    7. Matt Ryan - ATL
    8. Andrew Luck - IND
    9. Cam Newton - CAR
    10. Nick Foles - PHI
    11. Matthew Stafford - DET
    12. Tony Romo - DAL
    13. Jay Cutler - CHI
    14. Russell Wilson - SEA
    15. Colin Kaepernick - SF
    16. Joe Flacco - BAL
    17. Robert Griffin III - WAS
    18. Eli Manning - NYG
    19. Alex Smith - KC
    20. Carson Palmer - ARI
    21. Andy Dalton - CIN
    22. Sam Bradford - STL
    23. Josh McCown - TB
    24. Jake Locker - TEN
    25. Michael Vick - NYJ
    26. Ryan Tannehill - MIA
    27. Geno Smith - NYJ
    28. Matt Cassel - MIN
    29. Brian Hoyer - CLE
    30. Mike Glennon - TB
    31. Ryan Fitzpatrick - HOU
    32. Matt Schaub - OAK

    Begin.

Hence why I said "no rookies". No accurate way to rank someone who has yet to play a game in the league.

Cutler romo eli too low, foles too high for a one year starter, regardless of what he did. Are we basing this just on last season? Just curious.

Because if not, I'm no eli lover, but 18?

On how we think they will do entering the upcoming year. Eli's 18th because he's past his prime, I don't love his receiving corps as much as some do, and I think there are 17 others at his position that will do better next year.

I never know how to feel about Stafford... Sometimes I think he's a fantastic QB, and then the next day I've got it stuck in my mind that he's a product of Calvin.

At the end of the day though, I think he's a good QB.

Stafford is the new Favre. Gunslinger to the death.

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

Stafford is ridiculously inconsistent, but I have more than enough reason to believe that the coaching was a huge reason for that.

This year he has better coaching, and arguably the best overall unit of weapons. If he doesn't blow up this year will probably never be able to consider him top 10.

Well if he ended up becoming a Brett Favre, I'd say he had a pretty successful career... Haha. But yeah, I could see the similarities to a degree.

The only thing that's stopping Stafford from being a great QB is his own stubbornness regarding his throwing mechanics. If he ever fixes those, it's not hard to see him being top 5 at his position. The Favre comparison is spot-on, except that Stafford has the elite #1 receiver that Favre never had.
