    Blackhawks B+.
Richards isn't what he used to be but a very nice improvement for the hawks that cost little money. Also, getting a 3rd for Bollig was good too. Signed their rfas (Smith, Morrin, Ranta) at good deals

Loved Chicago, LA, Minnesota, Buffalo, STL, and TBs off season.

Did OK was COL, Isles, and Calgary despite Englends deal. Loved Vans actually.

DET had a poor free agency thus far. OTTs hasn't been great nor has Boston's

    Islanders were a B-

I love how we have stability between the pipes, but the defense was so pitiful last year. No goalie would of been able to succeed.

I think we could of been B+ material if Garth signed one of the top defense men, but then again I am glad we didn't because some teams significantly overpaid. Hopefully he will make a trade and upgrade the position.

agreed, 2.8 cap hit for a guy who can play 20+ minutes a game for only two seasons at age 31

I have a feel Chicago goes from Heroes to Zeroes once we see Toews/Kane's new contracts

Defense wasn't good last year but you have to realize D looks worse when you have horrendous goaltending. yeah we blew leads, and had awful defensive lapses, but addition by subtraction in Carkner alone will help, even MacDonald, was so bad at the point on the PP. We;re gonna be better there, don't think Garth is done.

I give us a B, but I give us an A compared to what we are used to. Went out and addressed our biggest need by far, we're better in goal now than we have been at any point in the last 12 years. We got 2 good forwards who will help with all aspects of the game, both offense and defense, and will greatly improve depth. Having Conacher will help cause if we ever need a replacement top 6 forward he can go there which makes a ton of sense over past experiments like McDonald or Martin.

Prime DiPietro>>>>Halak, I'd give the Devils a B, we cut ties with Marty, bought out Volchenkov(Deserves an A+), brought in a top line forward, and potentially, another top 6 forward.

No... Dude take the glasses off. You could say he was in a system in St Louis but he had good numbers with the Canadians too. Halak > DP

He's been a .70 ppg player his entire career..He absolutely crushed it last season with the Flames too. Without a doubt a top liner.
