Wifey isn't about to let him turn down that New York money. He's back to the Knicks and may very well take Gasol with him.

Neither has the money. He'd have to take a paycut to go to either of them....

Gasol, randle, melo, kobe and Nash is good lineup. Move Nash and then u can add another player with that 9 mill off the books.

Should point out Melo started in the West. As a Lakers fan, still don't think this means much. If its about money, go back to New York...

Not if it's true that the Knicks verbally offered the Max.
Friend: I think the NBA payed off the Heat in the first yr because of the politics. They threw game four and they payed Lebron because they were angry with what he did. So he had pay one way or another.

F:There is no one in the draft coming out and trading players isn't going to happen. The Lakers are in trouble.

F: Vogel doesn't run that team. Shaw does. If he leaves they are going to suck and Vogel will get fired.

Let's not get too excited until we get a confirmation from Woj. :P

In all seriousness, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Lakers offered Melo the max nor would it surprise me if he went to LA. However, I feel he will end up remaining with the Knicks.

Just imagine what the East would look like if both Melo and Lebron left.

At that point you could just call the East the JV league...
J.R. Smith: "They were pretty much scoring at will. Especially my guy. I don't know what the hell I was doing on defense."

Raymond Felton : "The play was give the ball to Melo."
