@WojYahooNBA: Lowry's deal will including an ETO after the third year of the contract, source tells Yahoo Sports.
Amazing deal, now MU would have more flexibility in re-signing Pat and GVZ

    Well done.

Very well done. $12M, 4 years, sounds like a very fair deal. It sounds like there's an early termination option after 3rd year -- is that Lowry's option, or team's option?

EDIT: Yeah, Lowry's option, makes sense. In 3 years, he still has a chance to get a new deal if Raptors are going nowhere. Fair for everybody.

$12M per. Exact same as Lawson's (minus the ETO).

Well done Masai. LOL at $14+M

This is fantastic and looks even better on Lowry for not wasting time in signing it.

Thoroughly impressed with the contract basis. What should this mean for cap room for the rest of the roster?

So happy we resigned a big free agent..especially after some championship contending teams were after him.

If Hoophype is to be believed, we have $46.8M locked up before Lowry's signing. We don't really know how it is structured -- probably not 12M flat, but slowly increasing... worse case, it's $12M now, putting us at $58M. Best case, he's getting $10M first year, putting us at $56M.

So, we're looking at about 6-8M cap space, minus whatever we pay GV and PP over the qualifying offers that are included already.

Also, it looks like DeColo is missing on that list.

All in all, not much left this year. Probably all we have is MLE. But, man, there's something like $30M coming off the books next year.

    What a great contract deal.

This also abolishes the notion that Lowry was only playing hard cus he's in a contract year. Why?
He has an early terminaton option on his contract. the only way I see Lowry using that is if he wants to go to a contender and isnt satisfied with the raptors. THis proves to me that he will be working his *** off still and not just taking his money and going back to being " injury prone"

So to all those skeptics in the NBA forum, I hope they open their eyes, Lowry is NOT overpaid, well deserved contract, Masiah does it again.
