Tampa's been pretty bad this year but has a little win streak going on. I thought about us sweeping here but they are always a pain to play as well as hot. I'm thinking a split between the 4 games sounds about right.

Also I had no idea Erik Bedard was still in the league. Last I remember he had that great season in Baltimore and then fell off a cliff.

Don't the Tigers usually sweep the Rays? I remember we just dominate them, or am I wrong?

-Last season we split the season series 3-3 with us taking 2 of 3 at home and them taking 2 out of 3 in Tampa.
-2012 we took 2 out of 3 at home and 3 out of 4 in Tampa
-2011 we swept them at home and took 3 out of 4 in Tampa

So my memory was wrong. I always remember them being tough to be beat but apparently the Tigers have had some real success against them recently.

V-Mart is back in the lineup tonight. A-Jax is expected to be leading off again as well.

Welcome back V-Mart! What better way to come back than a 2-run bomb!

Thank you Kinsler for the 2-run bomb as well.

Now if you're Joe Madden do you leave Bedard in to eat some innings and accept that you're going to get blown out. This way you drop a game but keep your BP rested or do you try to win and use the BP early, hoping the long relief guy can last 4 innings or so?

looks like they'll letting the reliever eat up some innings but rays broadcast says that ramos is probably leaving for a few days anyway so he'll get rest i suppose. I think he's on paternity leave or something along that line after today's game.

I know he took a beating but I seriously doubt we impregnated him.
