There is zero reason we shouldn't take 3 of 4 in this series

For anyone not thinking ESPN is hailing Mookie Betts as the next Trout check out the front page on ESPN.com right now.. Is his first home run really a story? I don't recall that for Gregory Polanco's first and he is a MUCH bigger prospect..

Anything short of a sweep in this series, and I'll be far from happy. And I'm being dead ****ing serious. Our team just got swept by the ****ing Rays. One of the worst teams in baseball. To top things off, I was at the game yesterday, decided to leave as the 8th began to get a head start home......nope....What is normally a little over an hour of a trip, turned into 5 hours! I remember now why I left the city.

Anyway, **** Tampa, **** Minnesota, **** Blue Font, and Cashman better get us a god damn arm and middle of the order bat, or I'm going to YS and butt ****ing that stadium dry.

Per RAB, probably posted in prospect thread. Figured it was relevant:

The Yankees will call up utility man Zelous Wheeler prior to Thursday’s series opener against the Twins, report Chad Jennings and Donnie Collins. No word on the corresponding roster move just yet, but they will need to clear both a 25-man and 40-man roster spot. The ice cold Yangervis Solarte seems like the obvious candidate to be sent down.

Wheeler, 27, has hit .300/.368/.469 (135 wRC+) with 20 doubles and seven homers in 65 games with Triple-A Scranton this year. That includes a .348/.400/.522 line against lefties. Wheeler has spent a bunch of time at short and third in addition to both corner outfield spots, so he’ll give the team some versatility. This is his first MLB call-up. The Yankees have been getting nothing from too many lineup spots these last few weeks, and Wheeler gave them a reason to bring him up with his performance.
