A thread to discuss the NFC North and only teams in the NFC North.

    Chicago Bears
    Detroit Lions
    Green Bay Packers
    Minnesota Vikings

Who do you see winning the division? How do you envision each team's top draft pick performing this season? Who will have the best Offense and who will have the best Defense? Any predictions or bold predictions you'd like to share?

The NFC North plays the AFC East and NFC South this season.

This division is also a bit of a toss. With Minnesota being the weak link its going to be a race between DET-GB-CHI. I will take Green Bay to take the division and bounce back from their average season last year

I wonder if Detroit and especially Chicago can take that next step this year. I think Rodgers will be in a race with Luck for the MVP.

I think Chicago's a bit overrated (here come the Bears fans). They will be in the race but wont be able to match Green bay or Detroit. The division winner will come down to who wins the most games within their division. Sticking with The Pack

As always, log jams in the standings spring leaks late. Who will survive?

    (1)Packers - not a bad December schedule

    (2) Vikings - from Nov 30th on isn't a brutal schedule. Ending with a home game might be the difference

    (3) Bears - pretty tough late schedule

    (4) Lions - from Nov 16th on is pretty tough. If the survive the ending, they will be very battle tested for the playoffs. They have to prove it.

"We have been watching and waiting, but I wouldn't say we intend to continue to do that. I think you watch and wait to try and assess a situation and act accordingly. It might involve more waiting. It might involve moving in one direction or another. We've done plenty of watching and waiting. If we can move in a particular direction, we might do that."

Packers are obviously the favorites. I think the Vikings could potentially be better than many think as well.

I'm a bit of a homer but everyone is sleeping on my Vikings. I'm not expecting to win the division but with GB, Detroit and Chicago being so reliant on their offenses don't be surprised to see Minnesota steal a few games with Zimmer at the helm now.

Zimmer and Turner are quietly changing the culture of the Vikings.

Am I the only non-Bears fan on the Bears bandwagon? Not enough to win the division over Rodgers, but still pretty solid I think.

CHI could be very good. They definitely worry me more than they have in a while.

If Rodgers stays healthy, GB wins the division.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

GB if they stay healthy, especially at QB.
