    I'd rather slightly over pay for Quincy than way overpay for a free agent.

    I'm good with this signing. Free Agency is a different animal today with the cap the way it is. An Lidstroms, Chelios's, and Rafalski's just don't grow on trees.

    I thought Ericsson took a step forward last year and hopefully DDK continues to develop. Quincy is a stop gap for the next two seasons.

    Ericssons year in 13/14 was worse than his in 12/13. ^^^

    Alright let me put it this way. When it came to playoff time, I missed Jonathan Ericsson. Maybe that is just a sign of where we are at on defense.

    yeah we missed Ericsson for sure. He's an underrated guy for us. Sure he gets exposed at times but that really isn't his fault when we've been missing a top pairing defenseman for 2 years now.
