    2014 NBA Summer League Thread

I figure we can have all discussion here since I don't think making individual game threads makes sense and the whole thing is like 11 games. We can probably post news about the games and stuff like who's on our roster as well as other team prospects.

I assume Ross and/or Jonas is playing. Bruno and Daniels probably. Kabongo got a spot too (link). They also said a few Canadians could be on the team like Birch.

I'm not sure if it was summer league or preseason but please no Chris Wright or whatever his name is.

Read somewhere Eric Griffin is in, and a couple others I can't remember off the top of my head. Itl probably all be announced formally fairly soon.

Was hoping Bachynski would play for us but I think hes playing for Charlotte instead

I am excited to see Bruno in summer league. I really want to see truly how raw he is, especially is defensive play and dribbles. Hopefully demar can come back and teach him.

You want Demar to teach him dribbling? Ouch.

I'm not sure that they will play. There's not much they can gain from it at this point -- a focused workout on key deficiencies would be a lot more valuable than banging with NBA rookies and hopefuls.

Looking forward to seeing Myck Kabongo the most. Lets see if he has developed a shot in the past two years.

He'll never develop a shot. Let's see if he's still a flashy passer. He was a McDonald's All American and top prospect coming out of HS.

I was more so motivated by his Instagram workouts . I know he is not the one to coach maybe just show him something his learned.

Celtics and Heat are playing right now. Get to see Smart and Napier play..

It's summer league and he sucks.

Smart made it really tough on him whenever they matched up together. He got it going a bit in the fourth but ya it was a rough game.

Summer league doesn't mean a lot, MCW was pretty bad in Summer league last year and look how he turned out.

I'd be pretty surprised if Jonas and Ross play. I'd like to see Ross play and jv sit out.

Jonas won't play. He probably going to get rest before going to training camp for 2014 Basketball World Cup.

Doubt Ross is there either. He's too good to be there.
