    Tim Lincecum

    2nd pitcher ever to have

    2 WS
    2 Cy Youngs
    2 No Hitters

    Other SP being Sandy Koufax.

    Does anyone care?

Perhaps but it's hard to ignore the individual accolades.

It's pretty awesome, but people would care more if he was more like 08-11 Lincecum instead of the #4 starter Lincecum.

Phht. I'd be more impressed with a 'consistent every start' Lincecum than a 'no-hit the Padres' Lincecum. But the record is cool for what it's worth.

I care, being only one of two pitchers to accomplish such feats is awesome. That being said, the way this team has been playing, it's pretty tough to focus on individual accolades for more than short time.

Oh I won't ignore it, and it felt great until the Giants lost the next day. I think though he needs more to make it in the Hall.

He'll need to be consistent again if he wants any chance of going to Cooperstown.

It will really be an interesting argument. I think a lack of consistency will certainly keep him out, but the resume is certainly there.

It's baseball history, I care very much.

Was talking about this the other day, it's awesome what he did, and when you lok at his resume it's awesome, but the fact that he's inconsistent and has basically fallen off as an elite arm over the last two years, makes it laregely meaningless right now.

They are nice feats. I guess it brings up the question. Since the Dodgers had the 6th pick in that draft and took Kershaw...

I guess most everyone would rather have Kershaw... who is still the game's best pitcher and looks like it for the future, but in the big moments, in the playoffs Kershaw to date has failed and not just once.

Whereas Timmy has the similar accolades, plus one more no-hitter and 2 Rings, including being extremely instrumental in landing both of those. Lights out reliever and ace of the staff.

I guess I care b/c it justifies why I have his framed jersey in my mancave, along with Will Clark.
2009-2014. 3 World Series Championships, 2 Stanley Cup Championships, 2 NBA Championships, and a Super Bowl Appearance. 3 No-Hitters, 1 Perfect Game, 3 NFC Title Games, Jim Harbaugh, Bruce Bochy, Phil Jackson, Daryl Sutter.

2015-??? Lakers stink, Kings missed the playoffs, Giants are hanging in there, 49ers are staring at lean years ahead.
