Solid pick. A first round talent that fell to us early in the second round. Loved it!

    1. Absolute 1st rounder in most drafts
    2. He may be better than both Shump and THJR right now
    3. Can flat out score and is really athletic

ESPN compared him to James Posey when he got picked, but I see a Trevor Ariza

Completely shocked he fell this far. Great pick for 34. I believe he will make the team this year too but we are also at a logjam at G/F. Someone's gotta go....

For a 2nd round pick I can't complain, just need to find his real position since he played PF in college like Fields and will have to adjust to SF. He has no perimeter defensive skills because of that so he will need some refining.

I like his offense though, he is not one to hold the ball to attempt to create for himself because he just can't.

I like that he is a good spot up shooter and good off screens and keeps the ball moving waiting patiently for his time to score within the offense.

What I don't like about him is that he is a chucker in the Hardaway mold, get's 3pt trigger happy. He has no ball handling skills for a wing player or passing abilities, can't contain his man on the perimeter and not very good at creating turnovers. He also has the BB IQ of a gummy bear.

I looked at more tape on this kid besides what is posted in this thread.

    For a 2nd like I said can't complain.
