                                1.19 WHIP 1.35
                                100.1 IP 85.0
                                72 K's 71
                                22 BB's 29

    Scouting Report:
Reds: Leake tossed eight innings, allowing one run on four hits while walking two and striking out six in an 11-1 win over the Blue Jays on Saturday. He took the loss against the Giants on June 5, giving up five runs on eight hits over five innings

Giants: A strong stretch from late April until late May seems like years ago for Vogelsong, who's been tagged for 19 earned runs in 28 2/3 innings over his last five starts. AT&T Park has been kind; he's posted a 3.33 ERA in eight starts there this season.

    Game 2: Friday, June 27th @ 7:15 PM

    VS.
    Johnny Cueto......Madison Bumgarner

    Code:
                                Cueto Bumgarner

                                0.85 WHIP 1.14
                                116.0 IP 102.2
                                119 K's 111
                                27 BB's 25

    Scouting Report:
Reds: Cueto tossed eight strong innings against the Blue Jays to earn his seventh win of the season on Sunday, allowing one earned run on seven hits while walking one and striking out eight. In 19 career starts against the Cubs, he is 8-6 with a 2.91 ERA.

Giants: The only Giants starter not mired in a recent slump, Bumgarner's making a case to be the NL's All-Star Game starter. He's lowered his ERA from 3.38 to 2.65 during his last six starts and has thrown at least seven innings in each of those outings.

    Game 3: Saturday, June 28th @ 7:05 PM

    VS.
    Alfredo Simon..........Matt Cain
    Code:
                                Simon Cain
                                15 Starts 12
                                10 Wins 1
                                3 Losses 6
                                2.92 ERA 4.82
                                1.09 WHIP 1.24
                                95.2 IP 71.0
                                60 K's 56
                                23 BB's 25

    Scouting Report:
Reds: Simon put together yet another strong outing in his last start, allowing just one earned run on five hits in seven innings Monday vs. the Cubs. That lowered his ERA to 2.92, further helping his case to make the All-Star Game.

Giants: Cain's command has gone missing and that's been reflected on the scoreboard; he's allowed 17 earned runs in 17 1/3 innings over his last three starts. The Giants have scored two runs or fewer in nine of his 12 starts this season.
    Game 4: Sunday, June 29th @ 1:05 PM

    VS.
    Homer Bailey..........Tim Hudson
    Code:
                                Bailey Hudson
                                16 Starts 15
                                7 Wins 6
                                4 Losses 4
                                4.80 ERA 2.62
                                1.43 WHIP 1.11
                                95.2 IP 99.2
                                87 K's 64
                                31 BB's 16

    Scouting Report:
Reds: Bailey had allowed just two runs through five innings, but a sixth inning that featured two walks, a single, a hit batter and a sacrifice fly was the difference in the game. In total, Bailey gave up just four hits and two walks while striking out six. The loss was his first since May 17, dropping him to 7-4 on the year. He'll try to get back in the win column Sunday at the Giants.

Giants: Hudson has surrendered 11 earned runs on 21 hits in 10 1/3 innings during his last two starts, a span that's sent his ERA skyrocketing from a Major League-low 1.81 to 2.62. The 38-year-old had given up just four runs in his previous five starts.

That Cueto/Bumgarner game is going to be a fun one to watch.

Would you trust a blind scout? Of course you wouldn't but that's what you do when you simply go by stats

Oh look, this Reds intern thinks they're cute. I wonder if Homer Bailey will bring his Cy Young awards and World Series rings too?

He has pretty good numbers against the giants though, they are much better off having Homer Baily pitch game 4 than Latos.

He will bring a 100 million dollar contract though, the one that Timmy turned down. I don't know why some giants fans on twitter were taking that as though the Reds were mocking him? I don't think they were at all.

Some twitter message the Reds sent. It was more of a compliment than a put down. And, Homer Bailey makes the Giants bats look like PeeWee league size most times he pitches against us.

While it was more of a compliment, if that's the game we're going to play then we'll lay it on the table and show whose is bigger.

I realize that. But there's not a big difference between Bailey and Latos. I'd rather face the guy that would make the game more fun to watch instead of the guy who no-hits us every time.

I have a question about the saturday bobblehead day. I'm taking my son with me that day. How is that going to work? Will Crawford be at one gate and the Belt bobblehead be at another?

They're given out at random. And like otatop said, you'll have a shot at any gate, except the Marina Gate in center where giveaways aren't handed out.
