    Cornwash arrested... Again

WRDW-TV in Augusta (GA) reports Bears DE Cornelius Washington was arrested on Friday night for speeding and driving with a suspended license on Georgia Highway 80.
A Georgia alum, Washington was booked into McDuffie County jail following the incident. He was also arrested in 2011 for DUI and speeding, resulting in a two-game college suspension. A highly athletic "workout freak" who played sparingly as a rookie, Washington is entering his second NFL season behind Lamarr Houston and Jared Allen. Washington's 2014 defensive role is uncertain.

I would be very surprised if he makes the team now. IMO, he was already on the bubble.

DUI's are bad enough, but it must be devastating when it ends your football career and costs you possibly millions of dollars.....

DUIs arent bad, irresponsible people who get drunk, drive and kill people are.
He makes over 50k a year and is driving without a licence speeding?
You would think this story is about a 16 year old.

you would think that the "morality" clause is what costs him a job but reality is performance on the field, you can DUI, Kill a guy, pick a crime - reality is fans are forgiving when it comes down to helping the team win
The Bears got him for depth so by all means, if he makes a impact on a game or his contract is favorable - the Bears or any NFL team, he's a commodity

Getting arrested for OAS isn't even that bad. He was probably just speeding and got pulled over and they saw he was suspended for the DUI Hr got in 2011. Blown way out of proportion.

Yup. I have little sympathy for NFL players getting in moving violation trouble. There's a ****ing league service to chauffeur them!

Now, this is not as big of a deal as if he got another DUI or if he hit someone or something like that, but he's still a moron.

    Still blown out of proportion.

He's not going to be cut because of this, pretty much guarantee that. If he's cut, it's because of performance on the field.

So if he means that it's being blown out of proportion in the sense that the posters in here saying he will be cut is going overboard, then yes, I fully agree with him.
