Just looked at the standings for the first time in a long time. The Tigers, even after that 9-20 or whatever they did, still have the 4th best winning percentage in the majors. That's crazy

Gotta get Smyly some run support, he's had back to back hard luck losses.

It's because in baseball, all you have to be is mediocre to be in top. The season is so damn love that every single team goes through slumps... Hopefully that was our worst one and we can play good baseball for a while!

It really is too bad that Prince Fielder isn't healthy. I'd love to see our pitchers pitch to him. I'm sure we'd get a K or 2

I doubt he'll keep up this pace but man JD has really solidified the #5 spot. That deepens the lineup and can help absorb the blow of A-Jax being up and down, and Avila not really hitting.

I was thinking that too. Jackson keeps struggling, let him sit on the bench for a few games...put Davis in Center, Hunter in right, and JD in left.

He was 1-2 with a 7.23 ERA in 21 games with the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Triple-A team in Indianapolis this season
So he'll fit in well with the rest of the terrible pen!

He won't see detroit. Just bullpen depth for Toledo because all their releivers are up in the majors now lol. But I think the tigers take at least 2 his series, possibly the sweep

We had to trade for Schlereth? I thought he was drafted by us!
