    2014 Spurs Draft

Thought I would start this thread to get the discussion started.

I really wouldn't mind moving this pick for a 1st next year or a couple seconds. Or if they just wanted to sell it, I could live with it. Another option I could live with is they would be able to package it with Joseph and moving up a few spots. But I am still not sure about moving Joseph unless we know that Patty is coming back.

So assuming that we keep the pick, here are some names that intrigue me:

Any of the top International talents. SA is far beyond me in scouting these guys, so if they go this way I will be all for it. Capela, Bogdanovic, Nurkic, or Micic. I actually am really intrigued by Damien Inglis. He has great size 6'9 / 240 / 7'3 wing / 8'11 reach. He has great strength and speed and has decent range. He is from france, so we know of a team that he can head to that will watch his progression closely. And he just turned 19 in May.

CJ Wilcox or Jordan Adams - After this coming year, Green, Beli, and Gino are all FAs. They won't all come back and we may only get 1 back if the other 2 earn themselves salary beyond our payscale. Neither of these guys have the length of Green or the skill of Gino, but both could be serviceable role wings. Both could serve a critical role as a scorer off the bench. Ultimately I like Adams better because of his age and his ability to score from anywhere.

Finally, if we think that Mills is gone, then I wouldn't mind picking up Semaj Christon. His one major knock is that he doesn't shoot well. But he has great length and quickness. And is a good at getting to the rim and defending.

Love Christon, but I wish they would trade for a high end 2nd round pick. I am interested in Micic, Capela on the foreign ends.

Rachel Zane: You're a sneaky little boy.

I hope that Bryce Cotton can open some eyes in the summer league and get an chance to crack the Spurs roster. I'm big time Providence College fan and the kid can straight up put the ball in the basket. While he is a bit undersized on the defensive end, he has freakish athletic skills and hopefully catches on somewhere, and I can't think of a better place than with the Spurs!

    Props for the sig!
