It's sad when you feel 3-0 is an insurmountable lead.

Peavy sucks. Can't we boot him too?

5 hits tonight, 6 consecutive games with 2 runs or fewer.

How does Peavy suck? He gave up 3 runs which isn't bad. We have no one hitting the ball. We need our pitchers to pitch a shut out every game just to have a shot at winning!

3 runs over 6 innings is a 4.50 era. Peavy is a bad pitcher, easily below league average. That's fine if he's your #5 in the rotation. It's not fine when you have an influx of other young pitchers who are pitching great, but are blocked by an overpaid below average performing pitcher.

Couldn't even pitch 5 inning. Bunch of walks, 3 ball count too much.

Miller is a joke...why don't he just hit a couple more to win it for them! LOL!

Xander is slumping again. He's getting as steady diet of sliders and changeups.

You can't justify removing Rubby from the rotation. It makes this years team worse, and it harms his development by giving him less major league experience.

Going to be interesting to see what happens with De La Rosa and Workman once Buchholz comes back. My ideal rotation would look like:

    1. Lester
    2. Lackey
    3. Clay
    4. Workman
    5. De La Rosa

Send Doubront to the pen, ship Peavy off for peanuts, he isn't going to help the Red Sox in the future, Workman and De La Rosa have a good chance of being apart of the rotation going forward.
