    Chicago White Sox (35-37) @ Minnesota Twins (32-38) | 6/19 - 6/22

Chicago White Sox (35-37) @ Minnesota Twins (32-38)

    Target Field - Minneapolis, MN.

    Thursday June 19, 2014 @ 7:10pm CT on CSN

Jose Quintana (3-7 3.98 ERA) vs. Yohan Pino (0-0 0.00 ERA)

Over his past two starts, covering 10 1/3 innings, Quintana has allowed 10 earned runs on 15 hits. That included Friday's start vs. the Royals, when Quintana yielded six runs on eight hits over six innings, despite striking out six to just one walk.

Pino is set to make his Major League debut against the White Sox on Thursday after 10 seasons in the Minor Leagues. The right-hander has excelled at Triple-A Rochester, going 9-1 with a 1.92 ERA.

    Friday June 20, 2014 @ 7:10pm CT on CSN

Hector Noesi (2-4 4.26 ERA) vs. Ricky Nolasco (4-5 5.66 ERA)

Noesi allowed five runs (two earned) on Saturday afternoon vs. the Royals, as he struck out four and watched his two-game winning streak come to an end. It was only the second start Noesi failed to work at least five innings.

Nolasco has yet to get into a groove this season, and couldn't get through the sixth inning against the Tigers on Sunday. The right-hander gave up three runs on nine hits over 5 1/3 innings to get stuck with a no-decision.

    Saturday June 21, 2014 @ 1:10pm CT on WGN

Andre Rienzo (4-4 5.67 ERA) vs. Kevin Correia (3-8 5.29 ERA)

Rienzo lost his fourth consecutive start, giving up six runs on six hits over six innings to the Royals on Sunday, but the White Sox will stick with him in the starting rotation. Rienzo has allowed 18 earned runs on 28 hits over his last 18 innings.

Correia was solid against the Red Sox on Monday, giving up just one run on six hits over six innings, but got the loss. He's fared better recently, posting a 3.50 ERA over his last six starts.

    Sunday June 22, 2014 @ 1:10pm CT on CSN
John Danks (6-5 3.97 ERA) vs. Phil Hughes (7-3 3.09 ERA)

Make it five straight high-quality starts for the southpaw, as he held the Giants to one earned run on five hits over 6 1/3 innings, striking out four and walking three. Danks has allowed 24 hits and six earned runs over his last 35 1/3 innings.

Hughes turned in his first complete game of the year against the Red Sox on Tuesday, giving up two runs over eight innings in a tough loss. He has a 2.28 ERA with 61 strikeouts and three walks over 75 1/3 innings in his last 11 starts.

    Picked to split the series.

Time to blow up the Sox roster with trades. This season is over.
I'd listen to any trade proposal for any player.

I'd think we are very close to being sellers, but, I wouldn't give anybody away other than Dunn and DeAza.

Ventura and Ventura's brain (Mark Parent) need to go.
Perhaps they can "promote" Ventura to get rid of him.
Dub his new position something like "West coast head of scouting and recruitment" so he can get back
home where he was happily retired before KW came knocking on his door.

So who would they hire as Manager? Lot of talented former players and coaches to choose from.
I would interview Jim Hickey of the Rays and give some consideration to some of our minor league
coaches like Rich Dotson. And would Big Frank consider acting as interim manager after the Hall of Fame induction?

I just can't see Ventura returning to manage this team next season or even after the Allstar break.
I guess sometimes things have to get worse before they get better so maybe after a few more sweeps
    heads will roll.

I have always wanted Dave Martinez the Rays bench coach to be the Sox manager.
